Photographs of the Service of Ordination, August 2008

These photographs were taken by the Cross-Denominational Mission at the service of Ordination to the Sacred Priesthood of Sr. Magdalena OEF at the Well Chapel, Witnesham, Suffolk, on 9 August 2008. Bishop Charles Mugleston was the ordaining bishop, with other clergy in attendance from the Liberal Catholic Apostolic Church, the Young Rite and the Independent Liberal Catholic Fellowship.

No-one who was present will forget what was an extraordinary occasion of great spiritual power and unity in fellowship. The heritage of progressive Liberal Catholicism was made manifest in the service used, which developed the classical Liberal Catholic Church liturgy into a more inclusive whole. The Gospel reading was, fittingly, taken from the Gospel of Mary Magdalene.

We wish Sr. Magdalena God's grace and all success in her new ministry.
