LCAC Summer Retreat and Synod
The LCAC summer retreat and Synod for 2009 will be held on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. This will be a week of ordinations, meetings, worship and workshops. Clergy from all the corners of the UK will be attending, and prayers and supportive worship will be held around the Globe. This is the first time that 'synod' type meetings will be held on the retreat: the College of Bishops will meet, and there will be a wide ranging review and a 'visioning' discussion led by the Vicar General to determine the way the LCAC will develop over the next few years. The program may be seen here.
